A forward-thinking, member-driven ARRL starts with the right leadership.

"Everything that A.R.R.L. undertakes must be 100% for the general good. That policy bred loyalty and confidence. With those two things an organization can prosper forever. " - Hiram Percy Maxim, W1AW (SK), one of the founders of ARRL.
Our league needs our help.
My fellow radio amateurs - our league is in crisis. Within the past few years we have seen an unprecedented move away from many of its core values, especially transparency, member governance and accountability. We have seen proposals being made that would weaken the power of your director and ultimately your vote. We have seen dissenting opinions put aside and silenced. We have seen our league spiraling down the path of being run like yet another corporation rather than a member services organization. We have seen the concerns of members and subject matter experts largely ignored in favor of political objectives. This cannot continue if we want our league to survive, and thrive.
Hudson Division is ground zero for these issues.
I've also seen good people who want to bring positive change to the league had their ideas dismissed. There is so much to do, and so much we can do. It starts with the right leadership. I firmly believe that I can bring that to the table. Hudson Division is ripe for change at the division level.
I love Amateur Radio with everything I have. I couldn't just sit on the sidelines anymore. I've decided to step up to fight to make things right.
But I can't do this alone, which is why I need your help. Are you with me?
A forward-thinking, member-driven ARRL
A member-driven ARRL benefits us all. Furthermore, in 2018 many league programs can be brought into the modern era. Sadly, we've not seen a lot of movement in this direction. ARRL continually seems to operate 2 decades behind. For a technology hobby, we definitely can do better. I want our league to grow and be vibrant, and stay up to date with the latest and greatest. True to the amateur's code: "with knowledge abreast of science, a well built and efficient station, and operation beyond reproach." I want ARRL to hold true to that. Electing me as your Division Director will be the first step, a huge step to bring your voice back into ARRL, and bring us fully into the 21st century and the ARRL's 2nd Century.
A Refreshing difference in approach and attitude
Listen to my opponent at a club meeting. Then listen to me. Notice something different? You're not the only one. I bring a positive message of a hopeful future for our beloved Amateur Radio Service. My opponent, sadly, does not.
Experience where it matters
Experience really does matter! I have the experience where it matters to be effective in the position of Division Director. I have worked tirelessly in my professional life, and I have spent time in the trenches in many aspects of Amateur Radio. I am backed by many real accomplishments, not just titles or committee seats. I am also backed by experienced, knowledgeable Amateur Radio leaders, who have real accomplishments and respect within and outside of the community.
There is only one fully qualified and experienced candidate in this election, and she's ready to serve you on the ARRL board.
